Hi there! I’m Sophie, Sophie Bordeaux – a young American gal with French origin (as you might have already guessed). Long time ago my beloved parents moved to USA and based in one of the most beautiful states of Pennsylvania known for its marvelous nature. Outstanding forests and parks especially in Fall conquered my heart from the moment I realized the beauty of local outdoors. And from that moment on I am in love with Fall and its colors … and even my hair color matches it perfectly!
I am deeply in love with … actually everything! My partner, my Labrador dog, my business, people and nature around. I learned to enjoy every day of my life and wish you could do the same.
I used to go to the office and do boring stuff that I didn’t even like (but who doesn’t for the sake of a good wage?!). But once upon a time I got involved in my friend’s wedding organization process. Since I am well-organized, have an eye for detail and my imagination never rests, I gave a good helping hand with everything that needed to be arranged especially printed materials, vendors and reception décor. My friend did appreciate my hard work (although it wasn’t really work for me since I enjoyed every single moment of what I was doing) and suggested to me to change my career. I became keen of undertaking formal training and diploma in wedding planning… So here I am – a passionate and excited wedding planner full of ideas and determination to make the best of your special day!
As a child I used to spend my free time pouring over magazines and books offering DYI designs and decors for parties. I had plenty of chances to decorate family parties and my mom admitted I do have a talent for it.
But wedding planning is not only about décor, it’s about being hard, persuasive and demanding, being ready to overtake new challenges and able to solve the problems, overcome stress and finally get the business done… I know that planning people’s weddings for me is a perfect balance of my dreams, desires and skills. I am helping people to pick the right décor, music, style of the whole event. Besides, I am always trying to get the best deal dealing with vendors and organize the detailed timeline so that the special day would run smoothly and a couple finally enjoyed their wedding.
